Fantasy Football Week 9 | In the Eyes of The Optiongirl
Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 9:00AM
Five weeks to go to qualify for the fantasy playoffs. Have you found it challenging to get through the bye weeks and have players that are banged up with injuries or out for the season. It’s not too late if you are towards the middle of the pack, don’t give up you can still make the playoffs. YOU CAN DO IT!
Bye weeks continue, managers in your league are looking for players to fill in for their starters. If you were marketing a product you would give value to your clients. Now is the time to give value to another team manager in your league and receive a stud in return. To acquire a stud offer a package, two solid players with a bench player to a team that is fighting to stay in the game. There is no better time like “In the moment” Do the action, propose the trade now.
Waiver wire favorites of the Optiongirl:
- Carson Palmer (Oak)
- Mark Sanchez (QB, NYJ)
- Javon Ringer (RB, Ten).
- Marion Barber (Chi)
- Chris Ogbonnaya (RB, Cle)
- Kevin Faulk (RB,NE)
- Jabar Gaffney (Was)
- E Chris Ivory (RB,NO)
- Early Doucet (WR, Ari)
- Jacoby Ford (WR Oak)
- Braylon Edwards (WR, SF)
- Eddie Royal (Den)
Carson Palmer (Oak) –. Palmer looked horrible his first week in action; however he only knew 10% of the plays so I think you have to cut him some slack. He has had a week of practice to learn the teams system.
Mark Sanchez (NYJ) – He’s improving as the season moves on, and he also has a schedule that is very favorable from here on out.
Javon Ringer (Ten) — Chris Johnson is number one but Ringer is getting action in the passing game and is useful in PPR Leagues.
Marion Barber (Chi) – He has scored in three straight games. If Matt Forte is injured you have a solid back to replace him.
Chris Ogbonnaya (Cle) –The Browns new starter this week as Montario Hardesty and Peyton Hillis are injured. He has good hands and should be active as a receiver from the backfield. In Week Eight he was targeted 8 times which is excellent
Kevin Faulk (NE) – He was only activated last week but was in the flow of the game. He had 6 carries for 32 yards, he had 5 targets with 5 catches for 20 yards and he is a coach’s favorite. I have lost a few times in past years in the playoffs because someone else picked him up.
Chris Ivory (NO) – He just returned to practice last week, and could be the short-yardage, goal line back.
Jabar Gaffney (Was) –Washing had no offense last week, Moss is hurt but Gaffney is now the #1 WR.
Early Doucet (Ari) –Doucet is on my team. He finds a way to score points each week which many receivers do not.
Jacoby Ford (Oak) – Also on my team, I am still waiting for him to have a huge day. With Carson Palmer as the new quarterback maybe his time is now and he will shine!
Braylon Edwards (SF) – He is back and a very talented receiver and worth a shot on your roster.
Eddie Royal (Den) –Royal had 13 targets in Week Eight with Tebow looking his way.
