Admit it, you’re stressed and sometimes feel overwhelmed to the point where it seems as though there is no end to all the busyness.  Time is such a precious commodity and also highly coveted when you discover there isn’t enough of it within the day to accomplish what you want to do.  Tell me, when was the last time you did something to inspire you and make you feel good? If you’re like most professionals it’s been longer than you can remember. Redirecting your focus toward your well-being is an important step in helping you to relax, have fun, and feel increased inner peace. When you do, you “get in the zone of life”, which inspires confidence and brings balance so everything within work and home flows better. Doing what you love makes every part of your life better and can greatly impact how you experience your world. Don’t wait weeks and months to pass by. Now is the time to take action! You only need to redirect your attention to receive the maximum benefits. 

How you create a balance between your personal obligations and work demands makes the difference in how quickly you get in the zone of life and begin doing more of what you love to do. Striking a balance between the two will allow you to start doing what you love to do NOW instead of later and also add an abundance of tranquility and inner peace within your life. Start the process by acknowledging there is work to be done and decide you will schedule time in your day solely dedicated to those things that bring you joy. Schedule some “me time”. You deserve fun in your life. You can choose to experience these times of dedicated joy alone, with family, or with friends. What matters most is you spend the time. Your brain needs to decompress and to get away from it all too; and there is nothing better than a juicy chapter in a book, listening to music, a short or long vacation, or starting the day in meditation watching the sunrise to renew your spirit and well-being.

Carving out time is one area you will need to plan to really get in the zone of life. You also want to learn how to be in the now so you can fully enjoy the experience instead of think of those things causing you stress. This can be more than challenging especially if you are in the habit of being “on” all the time or you put a lot of pressure on yourself.  I know this feeling well and the challenge for me was in quieting my brain enough so I could fully enjoy my “me” time. I found myself time and again getting caught up in the moment and feeling fearful wondering what someone might be saying and or even judging myself on what I was doing (or not doing) at the time. I wasn’t in the zone of life. What worked for me was practice and meditation.  I made it a priority to schedule the time to focus training my mind to silence those thoughts so I could learn to enjoy more what was right in front of me. This has made a world of difference. I’m less stressed and have a better handle on those feelings of overwhelm. (I’m not perfect, I do have times where I slip up). What I realized was I didn’t know how to fully embrace my “me” time experience before moving on to something else. Those feelings of peace and tranquility alluded me until I learned the importance to celebrate my successes each step of the way. It’s OK to put yourself first and to meet your get in the zone of life goal.  Pat yourself on your back and enjoy your moment of greatness in what you have created. You’re worth it!

Another barrier to getting into the zone of life is focused misdirection. In the past, I would create large lists of all the things I had to do. Large never ending lists on various pieces of paper (all of which was overwhelming in itself), scratchpads, or within notebooks. I found I would focus on these various lists and the many minute details within each task. These unfinished lists turned into me resisting action because I kept telling myself I can’t’, I’m afraid, and/or it’s not good enough. As a result, I turned to food when feeling stressed and fearful. I was so overwhelmed by what I had to do I was unable to create the positive momentum needed in order to even start. I was sabotaging myself over and over again to the point it would take months to take a small step forward on projects I really wanted to do. I would worry about the future and focus on what could go wrong. I would get angry at myself and then find myself frustrated. Totally not a good place to be! Don’t do like I did. There was no benefit to these choices.  Decide now you will focus on your most important item first. Breathe deeply and re-center if you find yourself falling back into old habits. Learn to embrace the process by not focusing on the end result but by focusing on the one specific task at hand. Step into your fear a little bit at a time and you will be able to take on later. Remember to focus more on what you want, instead of what you don’t want.  I had to learn worry won’t make things happen faster or make things better. Use your time redirecting your focus by visualizing the positives that will come from you moving through your fear and stepping forward toward completion. When you let go of the fear, relax your mind, and learn to trust yourself and others, you will get in your zone and become a believer in all you can do. This alone can have a major impact in your life. It’s something you will need to work on and I’ve put together some additional ideas to help you when you are not in balance and allow you to get into the zone so you can live life to the fullest.

 11 Easy Ways How You Quickly Get in the Zone of Life

  1. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Many times, what is bothering you isn’t really very important and work itself out within a few days.
  2. Relax instead of worry. Be grateful for what you have, and make choices to do what you love to do.
  3. Take better care of you. Get to know yourself better giving you more confidence in your professional and personal life.
  4. Write down your favorite way to spend the day, and then schedule an appointment with yourself on your calendar. For example: Have a spa day, or buy yourself a gift you have wanted for a long time and haven’t given yourself the permission to buy.
  5. Shift your mindset to a more positive one. If you are feeling a little down, grab your pen and paper. Create a list of 10 things to make you smile. Choose one and do it.
  6. Soothe your soul with something you love, gives you a big pick me up, and a burst of energy.
  7. Do the kindest thing you can do for yourself if you are sad, or maybe in pain whether it’s physical or emotional.  My favorite thing is to begin each day with soft spiritual music, and finish my week with a clean desk at work, and have a 2-hour massage.  
  8. Don’t ever give up on your dreams or goals. Believe miracles happen each and every day.
  9. Be positive and enthusiastic.  Don’t complain, instead smile and be the one who brightens up a room when you are around others.
  10. Be brave. Go out of your comfort zone.  Keep it simple. You can do anything you set your mind to. 
  11. Make it a habit each day of doing one act of kindness for other people. You can change their life. They will feel good and you will too.

After you’ve started the process you may find you are at a point where you are not making progress in getting into the zone of life. If this does happen then I urge you to keep pushing forward and to refocus your attention on the feelings of success you’ve experienced in the past. You may not see it but you have made progress in making creating a shift in your life. Keep in mind it takes the time to change habits you have developed over a lifetime and may not have been in your best interest because you are now shifting the tides within an ocean has only brought you stress and overwhelm. Decide today you deserve fewer struggles, more enjoyment in life, and to feel real inner peace. Don’t allow your schedule to be so full you aren’t putting you and your well-being first. Stop worrying about the future and what might happen. Avoid focusing on your fear and focus on getting into the zone of life! I have learned from experience stepping into the fear and allowing yourself to feel it creates inner growth faster than if you simply do nothing. It takes practice and patience with you to break the cycle and by deciding to “do it (as my coach says) will put action behind the fear and push it out of the way. Once you take action, you will get better and better at it and in time your fear dissipates. By digging deep for your inner courage, you will discover it will become second nature to you and with each new challenge you will be stronger and better equipped. Overcome your initial feelings of fear by asking for help and turning to someone who supports you such as a friend, an accountability partner, or an experienced coach. When you take action, you will be amazed at how you good feel. 

You have a choice every day on how you will handle and the attitude you will embrace for what shows up in your life. Decide today to look for what you can learn and choose to only focus on what is positive. Don’t get caught up in frustration, anger, or lose focus on those negative thoughts coming into your mind. It’s a waste of valuable time and good energy. Train yourself to stop for a moment, take a long deep breath, and refocus your attention on what you want. Get into the zone of life by knowing what is important to you and put yourself in the mix by carving out time for doing what you love to do. Making this adjustment in your life will create more wealth and well-being so you can live a lifestyle filled with the happiness, inner peace, and all the freedom you want and desire.

To begin you must right write down your three biggest challenges in terms of your finances. Ask yourself why do you think they are not working? Changing your habits could involve forgoing some activity or habit that is costing you money but you keep doing even though there is no real benefit or satisfaction. It can anything but for now focus on finding a routine that you do and could just as easily do without. Yes, it’s possible for you to learn a new wealth building attitude, one that suits your needs, one that you will commit to, and one that pays out huge rewards by giving you a feeling of satisfaction and happiness.

You can also start by adjusting the thought patterns and by reevaluating the behaviors surrounding your relationship with money. If all your thoughts are negative, you’ll quickly discover that real change will be more of a challenge and improvement will escape your grasp every time. The only way to move into true prosperity is by thinking good thoughts followed with strategic action because both of these activities will give you a different perspective and will also become the foundation of belief so you understand in your heart that it’s possible for you to have the life you’ve always dreamed about.

It also helps if you begin with the habit of incorporating a new daily behavior that will allow the positive thoughts to become automatic. By consciously forging a new healthy mindset you will develop rituals that will allow you to reach your goals. Decide now to create a plan of action that consists of action steps that move you closer to successfully impacting your finances. It’s never too late to start. Don’t put off your financial well-being. Your future self is depending on you!

Think about one realistic financial goal that is specific and measurable, and then write it down.  All habits can be changed. You can tweak as needed but you must set them in motion by taking action. Habits are learned responses. Once you make a new habit part of a daily routine, they become fully ingrained in what you do and will quickly begin to feel very natural to you. Adopting new ways of change adds to your wealth and will help you live the lifestyle you desire. You can use the additional tips below to help you as well.

Create A Positive Impact On Your Finances:

  • Money July blogDo less, not more. Remove one item that you do often and are not getting the results you desire. Do more of what is giving you the results that you desire.
  • Adopt a positive money mindset, that has an optimistic outlook that gives you the feeling of security and freedom of choice.
  • Develop rituals, routines that keep growing your knowledge and understanding. Do what you love to do, don’t procrastinate, instead take action and don’t wait until everything is perfect. (I’m still learning this principle)
  • Compose a written plan with your individual financial goals. Set goals for 3 months, 6 months, and a year. Pick one to start working on and make it a priority each day.
  • Start a ritual of tracking your finances each day. Watch where you are spending your money each month. When you are comfortable track your spending differentiating between “needs” and “wants” and then create a plan that prioritizes spending within your means.
  • If you need some assistance, find someone who can support and guide you that will keep you accountable to reach your goals.

Day 6: Break Free from Your Fears

face-your-fearsIs fear getting the best of you? Is fear holding you back from doing and achieving what you would like to do? Everyone feels fear at some point in time. It’s perfectly normal and some people naturally feel fear more than others. Fear can be paralyzing and limits you. Facing fear head on is a much better way to handle fear. Moving beyond your fears is not always easy but fears can be conquered. You truly can overcome your fears! When the feeling of fear fills me, I have learned to think of fear as an adventure that needs to be explored. Initiate it too, and see what happens. Don’t let fear stop you from reaching your goals, dreams, and the desires that you aspire to achieve. Live your passion each day waking up happy, feeling excited, and inspired. Why not decide now to make a commitment to set yourself free from the fears that you are holding on to. It truly is possible to live the life you want and do so on your terms. Facing your fears can allow opportunities to open up and manifest in your life.

What is the one action step you can do today to invest in yourself? Finding the answer may be closer than you think. What I’ve learned over the years is that when we have the tendency to hold off addressing fears due to a lack of knowledge and the fear of repeating past mistakes. You can learn how to break free from your fears with the right guidance, patience, and belief in yourself. When you invest in yourself and decide now is the time to take the necessary steps that will open a gateway for your dreams and desires to come true, and then you realize that the possibilities for achieving your goals are endless. You don’t have to be perfect. You only have to start. Once you do, you will begin to create change more easily, and also enjoy a more fulfilling and happier life. You and your deepest desires are worth it. The time has come for you to Invest in You!

By acknowledging your fear, you can work through its hold on you. There are times when you need someone knowledgeable to talk to or times when you need only an ear of someone to brainstorm with. I have been in this place more than once. Through the help of my coaches, I was able to reach beyond and break free from many of my fears. By going through the coaching process myself, I now fully understand how investing in a coach can speed up the process since doing so has had such a huge impact on my life. If you are unsure of how to start facing your fears, think about investing in a coach who can help you break free and will share their experiences, provide encouragement and also keep you accountable while you move closer to your dreams so you can finally start doing things you never imagined possible.

There really is no need to handle everything all at once since doing so will only overwhelm and lead you to become discouraged. Start by simply facing one fear by making a plan, and then begin working the plan. When you take action steps you are well on your way to creating the life you desire.

The time has arrived for you to take the first step to a better future. If you feel a bit overwhelmed simply stop what you’re doing. Never wallow in what’s not working with negative thoughts. Give yourself permission to feel better and break free from what is holding you back from living the healthy wealthy lifestyle that you desire.

Did you ever notice how some days are super busy and other days are quiet and peaceful?  Sometimes you may even feel a little anxious and uncertain. It’s possible to be at peace with your finances and live a healthy wealthy lifestyle. You don’t have to be frustrated when you think of money. You can overcome what is keeping you from building wealth, and begin to live a healthy wealthy lifestyle you’ve always dreamed of. Start your day on your terms and be full of energy. Do things you never imagined. Find out what options are available, and enhance your life today. Don’t do like I did and eat every time difficult emotions kick in or by drowning yourself in work. These actions won’t give you the answers you need. You must learn balance by choosing your happiness and you will find yourself living a healthier lifestyle. I certainly found this to be the case. Yes it’s a process, it doesn’t happen overnight, but when you change your behaviors, and feel peace in your heart; you have more joy, energy, and a richer life.

Imagine your life with less stress, increased confidence, and days that flow with ease instead of days filled with pain and worry about your money. Make it a priority of creating good habits and routines that you will derive pleasure from, and also improve and enhance your wealth and well-being. All habits can be changed when you have the desire that you want to change. Make the decision to always embrace, explore, experience, and enjoy pursuing your journey to wealth and well-being. Once you make new habits part of a daily routine, they become automatic and ingrained in what you do so they feel very natural to you. Decide the responsibility is yours and take action. It’s never too late to start. Now is the time, don’t put off your financial well-being. Your journey can begin now. You can enjoy a sense of freedom once you decide to create real change in your life. All you need is a plan that can move you closer to successfully doing what you want to do.

Steps to Live a Healthy Wealthy Lifestyle to More Wealth and Well-Being

  • Review and write down your financial plan to simplify your finances that suit your needs in order to live life on your terms not somebody else’s.
  • Find your passion. Do what you love to do. Let your creativity shine.
  • Have a vision with your individual goals that gives you security and freedom of choice.
  • Set goals for 3 months, 6 months and a year. Pick one to start working on in the short term that will move you towards your longer-term goal.

  • Raise your awareness to your surroundings. If someone says or does something to you that you don’t like, say and do nothing. Count to 10 before you respond. If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t!
  • Be compassionate and be thoughtful of how others feel. Think about what the other person might be going through. Don’t judge them. Remember there are two sides to every story (sometimes three lol).
  • Don’t be hard on yourself. Clear your mind from the stress and think positive thoughts.
  • If you want to accomplish more, do your best to relax. The more you press, the longer something will take you to accomplish.
  • Get support. Be held accountable. Find a coach or partner who will support you to on your journey in life.

Everybody needs a bit of calm, peace, and moments of quiet even with our busy day to day responsibilities. You really do have the power to take control of your wealth and well-being. The first step is to start taking action NOW. Change your mindset, habits, and the behaviors you’ve established around wealth that you don’t feel good about right now. Invest in you and make a genuine commitment with focused attention to create real change in your life. Take a step today that will lead you toward a life of less stress, more wealth, and well-being so you can live a healthier lifestyle.

She let go of the fear.  She let go of the judgments.
She let go of the confluence of opinions swarming around her head.
She let go of the committee of indecision within her.
She let go of all the ‘right’ reasons.
Wholly and completely, without hesitation or worry, she just let go.

She didn’t ask anyone for advice.
She didn’t read a book on how to let go.
She didn’t search the scriptures. She just let go.
She let go of all of the memories that held her back.
She let go of all of the anxiety that kept her from moving forward.
She let go of the planning and all of the calculations about how to do it just right.

She didn’t promise to let go.
She didn’t journal about it.
She didn’t write the projected date in her Day-Timer.
She made no public announcement and put no ad in the paper.
She didn’t check the weather report or read her daily horoscope.
She just let go.

She didn’t analyze whether she should let go.
She didn’t call her friends to discuss the matter.
She didn’t do a five-step Spiritual Mind Treatment.
She didn’t call the prayer line.
She didn’t utter one word. She just let go.

No one was around when it happened.
There was no applause or congratulations.
No one thanked her or praised her.
No one noticed a thing.
Like a leaf falling from a tree, she just let go.

There was no effort.
There was no struggle.
It wasn’t good and it wasn’t bad.
It was what it was, and it is just that.
