Investing in YOU is something to do all year long, not just for a holiday, or a week or just once in a while. Yes this might be challenging sometimes, but in the long run taking care of your health and well-being helps everything and everyone around you. I hope you enjoyed the holiday season being with family and friends. A new year approaches and a new beginning. Keep taking small strategic steps toward your goals and desires. Each success brings you closer to a life of tranquility instead of a life filled with stress and worry. You will become happier, healthier and more content if you work toward your dreams in a slow steady pace. Doing more doesn’t always make things better, and you will be surprised how relaxing life can be once you begin to focus on what you are passionate. You will feel a true sense of renewal and begin to finally live the inspired lifestyle you desire.

Tranquility is defined by as a “quality or state of being calmness, peacefulness, quiet, and serenity.” This is exactly what I wish for all of you!

Whether it’s during the holiday season, the start of a New Year or just another normal day making well-being a priority is essential. Did you ever notice how some days are super busy and other days are quiet and peaceful?  Sometimes you may even feel a little anxious and uncertain. Wouldn’t it be great if you could jump start your day on your terms and be full of energy and unstoppable happiness? You can have this once you decide to create a real change in your life with some simple action steps that will bring you to the next level and beyond. To follow are some systematic steps toward a lifestyle of peace and tranquility as you move ever closer to successfully doing what you want to do.

Easy Steps To Improve Your Well-Being With More Well-being-this-way1Tranquility and Less Stress

  • Start your day an hour earlier and finally create some private time for you. Once you do so you will be pleasantly surprised just how much you  get done during this peaceful time of the day. Mix it up a bit and add some of your favorite music while enjoying the beauty around you. What a great way to start your day!
  • Choose something that you like to do and that you are passionate about. This could be writing, prayer, meditation, or even exercise. It doesn’t matter the activity as long as it’s whatever you like to do and will shift your thoughts into a more positive frame of mind. (I love my time for writing, exercise, and researching information about fantasy sports with music in the background)
  • Do less. I’m sure you have heard of the K.I.S.S. principle- Keep it simple stupid. Do you use this principle? If not, why? Stop now and make the decision to remove one item that you do often and are not getting the results you desire, and simplify it. By using this principle you will get more done, be happier and less stressed.
  • Set goals for 3 months, 6 months and a year. Enjoy the journey. Pick one to start working on in the short term that will move you towards your longer-term goal. Choose one thing at a time, focus on it, and make it happen.
  • Create a morning and evening routine to start and end your day on a positive note.
  • Empty your E mail inbox and clear your desk regularly. This will help you if you are feeling overwhelmed.
  • Respond to others without reacting. Raise your awareness to your surroundings. If someone says or does something to you that you don’t like, say and do nothing. Count to 10 before you respond. If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t!
  • Be kind and compassionate. Be thoughtful of how others feel. Think about what the other person might be going through. Don’t judge them. Remember there are two sides to every story.
  • Be patient, kind, not hard on yourself.  If you had a little too much to eat during your day, or at a party, don’t beat yourself up. This will get you nowhere fast. Give your body some love, create time into your schedule and go for a walk. Clear your mind from the stress and think positive thoughts.
  • Move your body. Exercise. See if you can make this a daily habit. Get into the habit. Start simply with 5 minutes each day. Expand the time with what works for you. Exercise not only helps you lose weight but it could make you feel so much better like it has done for me.
  • Find your passion. Do what you love to do regularly. Let your creativity shine through. You will be happier, more tranquil and less stressed.
  • Be held accountable. Find a coach or partner who will support you to on your journey in life.
  • Review and write down your financial plan to simplify your finances as you focus on growing your wealth.

You really do have the power to jump start your day and be full of energy and unstoppable happiness! All it takes to get started is choosing one action step and following through with focused attention. You will create real change once you start. Remember to believe in yourself because you can do anything that you set your mind to. Let today be the day that you make the decision that will lead you toward less stress and more tranquility as your dreams become reality.

As a big believer of personal development it is never far from my thoughts on developing ways to help make life better and to touch the lives of others. Have you sat quietly and thought about how to set real change in motion when it comes to your wealth? Decide now that you will create change and make your finances a priority. Be a self-starter towards achieving your financial goals. Don’t wait for someone else, or say you will begin tomorrow. Make proper money management a top priority and watch how the positive results impact your bottom line.

To begin you must right write down your three biggest challenges in terms of your finances. Ask yourself why do you think they are not working? What changes can you make right now and do differently to improve your future earnings or place you in a better position for financial independence?  How can you change your mindset in order to make the needed changes that will keep you stress and worry free?

Changing your habits could involve forgoing some activity or habit that is costing you money but you keep doing even though there is no real benefit or satisfaction. It can anything but for now focus on finding a routine that you do and could just as easily do without. Yes, it’s possible for you to learn a new wealth building attitude, one that suits your needs, one that you will commit to, and one that pays out huge rewards by giving you a feeling of satisfaction and happiness.

You can also start by adjusting the thought patterns and by reevaluating the behaviors surrounding your relationship with money. If all your thoughts are negative, you’ll quickly discover that real change will be more of a challenge and improvement will escape your grasp every time. The only way to move into true prosperity is by thinking good thoughts followed with strategic action because both of these activities will give you a different perspective and will also become the foundation of belief so you understand in your heart that it’s possible for you to have the life you’ve always dreamed about.

It also helps if you begin with the habit of incorporating a new daily behavior that will allow the positive thoughts to become automatic. By consciously forging a new healthy mindset you will develop rituals that will allow you to reach your goals. Decide now to create a plan of action that consists of action steps that move you closer to successfully impacting your finances. It’s never too late to start. Don’t put off your financial well-being. Your future self is depending on you!

Think about one realistic financial goal that is specific and measurable, and then write it down.  All habits can be changed. You can tweak as needed but you must set them in motion by taking action. Habits are learned responses. Once you make a new habit part of a daily routine, they become fully ingrained in what you do and will quickly begin to feel very natural to you. Adopting new ways of change adds to your wealth and will help you live the lifestyle you desire. You can use the additional tips below to help you as well.

Create A Positive Impact On Your Finances:

  • Money July blogDo less, not more. Remove one item that you do often and are not getting the results you desire. Do more of what is giving you the results that you desire.
  • Adopt a positive money mindset, that has an optimistic outlook that gives you the feeling of security and freedom of choice.
  • Develop rituals, routines that keep growing your knowledge and understanding. Do what you love to do, don’t procrastinate, instead take action and don’t wait until everything is perfect. (I’m still learning this principle)
  • Compose a written plan with your individual financial goals. Set goals for 3 months, 6 months, and a year. Pick one to start working on and make it a priority each day.
  • Start a ritual of tracking your finances each day. Watch where you are spending your money each month. When you are comfortable track your spending differentiating between “needs” and “wants” and then create a plan that prioritizes spending within your means.
  • If you need some assistance, find someone who can support and guide you that will keep you accountable to reach your goals.

LaughHave you ever just wanted to laugh and stopped yourself? Have you wanted to share your joy with someone and no one was there? Have you stopped laughing because you are unhappy?

Take a moment and think about these questions. Perhaps your mind wanders to a quick thoughts and sometimes, it’s easier to beat yourself up and be hard on yourself. Maybe even you feel what you do is not good enough. It’s up to you to get out of your own way and create changes while making the effort to do new things,

Book some time with you. Become your best friend by exploring, engaging and experiencing things that make you feel good. Especially if it’s something you haven’t tried before. Stop being intimidated by others who might laugh or make fun at you. You do not have to quit laughing or living without joy. Happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy. Teach your heart, mind & body to laugh today!

I had a chance to go to a laughter class. What a crazy idea! What a fun idea! Inspired action took over so I took some ‘me time’ with a friend and away we went. There is safety in numbers, right? I had no idea what to expect.

We were greeted with a warm “Welcome to Laughter Yoga.” I have always heard yoga has so many benefits. For sime time now I’d been thinking about learning yoga minus the tights and leotard. So this served as a perfect solution without the “uniform”. As it turned out, it was also a wonderful way to spend 45 minutes. The change in your mood, thoughts, energy and vibration shifted in a matter of minutes. Laughter Yoga requires that you look into the laughing faces of your classmates. I quite enjoyed moving around, laughing at myself and feeling totally rejuvenated in the process. You might think it’s easy laughing for 45 minutes. Let me tell you that I ened up peeling off two layers of clothing because I was so hot! What a workout!
