How To Do What You Thought Impossible

Do you have projects that you have not completed and maybe even frustrated to the point of giving up? What would it be like if you were able to balance all of your demands and still feel good and happy? You may find some days are super busy while others are quiet and peaceful. When you are relaxed, happy, and full of energy, you find a way to overcome what may be frustrating you. With a tweak or two to your mindset and in the actions you can change your thoughts for the better and also achieve the results you want.

It’s generally difficult to get started. You can ease the process by first thinking about why you were excited when you started your project. Stop bringing yourself down by focusing on perceived complications or negative thoughts of why you can’t.  Start giving focused attention to making your project a priority and putting into motion a daily habit of doing the work. By being committed and disciplined, you will make progress and ultimately complete what you started.

With practice, you can develop the daily habit of focusing on good things and positive thoughts. When your attention is on the positive side, negative thoughts tend to drift away, and those pessimistic voices fade. It’s not enough to only think positively you must also take action. When you notice a negative thought creep in, change the thought to a positive one – by making this a habit, you will reduce your stress and experience more inner peace and happiness.

“Happy people plan actions,
they don’t plan results.”
~Dennis Waitley

You can do what you imagined impossible if you stop focusing on what may not have worked in your past. Any habit can be changed. Start being gentler and kinder to yourself by saying positive words to yourself. If you want to start to feel better about money, practice saying kind things to yourself about money. If you want to feel better about your body image, practice saying kind words, and being thankful for all your body does for you.

Words and the thoughts behind them are powerful. Listed below are some empowering wealth related affirmations that have worked well for me. Let them sink into your mind and heart and become part of how you think from now on when the subject of money (you can substitute the topic) comes up. Close your eyes if it is comfortable for you. Say each affirmation three times. Practice daily for a week or two and notice how your thoughts change as you use these every day.

  • I am in full control over my thoughts about money.
  • I am taking care of money and money will take care of me.
  • I am willing to think positively about money every day.
  • I am an excellent money manager.
  • I make the right choices about my money exactly at the right time.

Changes you make compound over time. Once you make new positive habits part of a daily routine, they become automatic and ingrained in everything you do, and your new thoughts will begin to feel natural and second nature you. It’s a choice to be positive and is worth the effort. Decide now to create change in your life.   Small, simple steps made consistently with discipline, are key to achieving what you want in your life. These simple tips I’m sharing with you below will help you achieve your goal with more happiness.

8 Tips to Achieve What You Want with More Happiness

  1. Find what excites you and do more of what makes you happy. If you like to write, then spend time writing each day. If you like music, then listen to music each day. If you like nature, go for a walk each day. You deserve to take the time for what gives you joy.
  2. Focus on the process, not on the results. Be disciplined, taking a step toward what you want to achieve. Don’t worry about the outcome.  Enjoy your progress each step of the way.  With practice, what was challenging will be easier, and you will get better and better at what you do.
  3. Choose what aligns with your overall goals. Review what you constantly do over and over. Eliminate one item today that is not getting the results you desire and spend the time taking action toward your overall goal.
  4. Be interested in what others have to say. Learn from them. Ask questions and for feedback without taking what is said personally. Be a continuous learner.
  5. Spend time surrounding yourself with people that encourage, support, and have a positive outlook on life.
  6. Give up wanting to be right all the time. Look for a way to understand the other person’s position, to see their point of view, a different perception.
  7. Be compassionate about how others feel. Think about what the other person might be going through. Don’t judge them. Remember, there are two sides to every story, sometimes even more.
  8. Have an accountability partner. Be held accountable. Find a coach or partner who will support, encourage, and inspire you to achieve your goals and dreams.

You deserve to be happy. as you get through your daily responsibilities. When you are down or feeling overwhelmed, choose to be gentle and kinder to yourself. Be aware of those negative thoughts and begin to change them into more positive thoughts that can make a difference in your life. The daily habits that you develop are what make your everyday life more fulfilling and improve your overall well-being. Remember to say kind words to yourself regularly and watch how your life changes. When you’re open to doing and creating time to do what is important for your overall well-being, you will bring in more joy and happiness to your life.
