Do you resist making good choices? Do you subconsciously do things to sabotage your success? How well have you been managing your choices for a healthier lifestyle?

You can do this by learning to take each day in stride by developing a system of different routines that set you up for success instead of repeating the cycle of failure. You do this by adding healthier foods to your daily living, discovering new ways to move your body, and by increasing the number of fun activities in your life.  When choosing a path of well-being instead of self sabotage, you learn pretty quick do what you love to do and what you find yourself passionate about.

Watch your confidence grow as you start the transformation from self sabotage to well-being with a few easy and consistent steps. It’s not necessary to change everything you might be doing all at once. You simply need to do adjust your life in moderation so you can find a happy balance. Sometimes this a challenge but remember that it will happen at the perfect time and you will be ready to add a few more changes that help you create a better quality of life. You’ll enjoy these changes to your lifestyle too because they will become a part of you. Once you are clear about your goals then you will unlock the right combination for you. Time, patience, and perseverance are three keys to becoming successful in your well- being.  When you practice and repeat you will notice the difference in how good it feels to make real change in your life.

  • Have a good attitude.
  • Make the commitment to yourself to reach your goal by writing down small daily goals to ultimately reach your long-range goals.
  • Take action to make a simple routine to move your body. Choose something you like so you will do it. For example, walking, running, swimming, weights, yoga, etc.
  • Get adequate rest each day. Sleep is important to your well-being as it refreshes the body and the mind.
  • Create quiet time for you that makes you happy. For example, meditation, reading, walking, and writing.
  • Surround yourself with people who you can trust, who have good energy, inspire and you feel good around.
  • Drink plenty of water so you are hydrated and feel energized.
  • Eat well-balanced meals that fuel your body so you feel great each day.   • Trust your own intuition. It’s the little voice inside of you.
  • Develop a mantra that you can say to relax and that will inspire you – Use positive words ‘“I can handle this” or “Nothing can hurt me,”. My mantra is “I can do anything I set my mind to”. Repeat the mantra, whenever you feel you are not centered.

What could you accomplish today if you started now to take the necessary action steps to improve your well-being? Don’t give up and lose heart if and when you feel discouraged. You can get through those times when challenges show up. Simply regroup by adjusting your mindset as quickly as possible and you will get back on track. Even ask for help if you need to. Becoming clearer on your long-term objectives will help you free yourself from self sabotage. You do this by knowing where you want to go and believing you will get there.

Choose only those that you like, that inspire you, and are fun since they will become the foundation for your overall well-being. Start today by putting in the time and make a lasting commitment to yourself that you are leaving self sabotage behind. You are important! Your well-being is at stake so even the smallest steps are enough. Take heart and know that YOU truly can handle any situation that comes your way. I believe in you.
